Hello everyone! I have found a new project to provide inspiration for my card making. I have always enjoyed the Mojo Monday challenges and have recently found their file of all the 2009 sketches. I did not start this hobby until late in 2009 and did not discover in their challenges until 2010. I have decided to create my own personal challenge! I printed out the 2009 sketch book from their blog and am going to challenge myself to make a card for every sketch! These cards will be donated to different organizations such as "Send Love Today", "Packages from Home", local children's hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, and women's shelters. I also am participating in the Reader's Reach Out from CardMaker magazine. I had lost some inspiration and creativity these last few weeks while I have been so busy doing other things. I am now re-focused and will post pictures of my cards as I make them. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think! Thanks for all your support!

just love this apron!! I made it for my sister for the "Storybook Parade" at her school, (she teaches 2nd grade). The book I used for inspiration is below it. She will wear the apron and fix her hair like "Nancy" in the book for the parade. I think I might have to make one of these for myself!!!
As much as I love creating my aprons, I found something else I like even more! Handbags! Please visit my new blog to see my handbags for sale. www.garnerhomecreations.blogspot.com
I am planning to sell these at our local trade days. They are "mommy and me" sets. These obviously are from 2 different sets, just so you could see a couple if different fabrics. The red with teapots is the adult size and the other is the child size. I also have aprons for men and others that are just regular aprons, not this fancy. I am looking for feedback and honest opinions about these aprons and my hope to sell them. You can also visit my Etsy store at http://www.etsy.com/shop/Jess41185 Please let me know what your thoughts on this are, as I really need someone else's input....
I needed a card for a man, not a boy, which was hard to find. This still looks somewhat "kiddie" I think, but this is what I came up with. I figured the saying "the more candles the bigger the wish" would be the defining factor between child and man card. But hey, a man is just a big child anyway right??
Just a couple new cards... This has been such a busy month for me so far that I haven't had much time in my craft room!! These two I threw together in what spare time I had today! Enjoy!!
I have just really gotten in the card making spirit! I have this new arrival card for the BBTB2 challenge! Their blog has some really creative people on it!
Wow! I have been so busy I have neglected my blog!! Sorry guys! Here is a new card I made for 2 challenges. The Die Cut Dreams challenge and Daring Cardmakers. Look at their blogs to see other awesome entries!
This card is what popped into my head while making a different card. I love it so much I am entering it in the cute card thursday challenge! Check out their blog challenges at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com
This card was originally intended to start as a birthday card, but the more I worked on it and glued pieces together, the more it turned into a spring card....
I actually used the wild card cartridge and cut the doily card for this. I just cut each card in half at the score line so the every other piece had a ribbon through it.
This was my first try at a real Cricut card! It is definitely one of my favorites! I used the animal kingdom cartidge and cut the fish bowl to fit the card. Outside
These are just a few of the cards I made when I first started playing around with my scissors and ribbons..... Card making turns out to be much easier than I once thought...
I have newly joined the craft world and love it to death! I work full time, and play in my craft room most of the rest of the time. I am married and have one spoiled dog that suffices as my child.
